We hope to use this page to keep members updated on each other and on the latest happenings within the organization.

On November 10, 2007 The members of Trinity Baptist Congregation visited and serve food and gave out clothes to the community. We were glad to have them at the Fayetteville City Rescue Mission.

On November 10, 2007 CCUMC Youth Ministries visited and serve food to the community. We were glad to have them at the Fayetteville City Rescue Mission.

On November 22, 2007 the Girl Scouts Troop 1685 and Brownies Troop 1236 served food for the Thanksgiving Feast to the homeless and needy.

Mary McGiff came by and donate suitcases to The Fayetteville City Rescue Mission Dec. 3, 2007 for the homeless.

 We received money from WIDU Radio Boardcasting Station who gather it from local churches, We would like to say thank you to WIDU and the churches that  participated in the drive to rebuild and support the mission. Thank You again.

Our Executive Director recently went to Raliegh, NC on November 15, 2007 for a luncheon that The NC Housing Association was holding for Senator Rand.

This is the Executive Director Mrs Gladys Thompson at the luncheon with Senator Rand. Senator Rand persented the City Rescue Mission with a thousand dollars check to go to the City Rescue Mission Relief Fund. The CIty Rescue Mission Mrs. Thompson appreciate all he's done.

On November 22, 2007 The Piece Entertainment Magazine came and enjoyed Thanks giving with us.

This is the Fort Bragg Soldiers from Alpha Co. 96th Civil Affairs Battalion is building us The City Rescue Mission a shed to store clothes, can goods, and hygiene items (donation welcome) in the back yard area.

Our Executive Director Gladys Thompson handing presents to Mrs. Dickens Friday 12-21-07. We provided gifts to families as well as food boxes to families as well as the elderly.  We also had Santa at at our Christmas Feast 12-22-07.

The K-9 Motorcycle Club came and donate time, effort, and maney to keep us afloat. We appreciate them in ths endeavor,
